Hey Everyone!
The Perrys recorded TWO retreat songs! Woo Hoo! Right after "The Potter Knows The Clay" they did "Second Opinion" (which I wrote with Tery Wilkins and Ed Stivers.) I wish you all could have been in the studio to hear their excitement over both songs -- it was so cool!
Thank you Wayne Haun for believing in this song -- I probably wouldn't have pitched it otherwise, since the only version I had of it was the ROUGH work tape we did right after we wrote it.

Just think... one week ago those two songs only existed in the mind and heart of God. Now they're going to be out there for the world ot hear. WOO-HOO!

Woo hoo! That's so awesome. Congrats, Joel, Tery, and Ed, on a GREAT song. That was such a fun moment to hear it performed by you 3 and the applause that came at the payoff of the hook.
Can't wait to hear more of these stories, including how these songs are being used in our own churches and communities.
This is just way too cool! I loved that song too! It's a great reminder that God always has the last word!! I'm so happy for you Joel, Tery and Ed!

Wow! Great news! I am so happy for all of you. I think sometimes when I say or think, "it's in God's timing" I always think of waiting and things taking a long time. But God's timing is just that ... HIS! And I guess he loved what he heard! :) I know I did! I just know the Lord will use those songs to touch so many and to lift spirits! I know they did that for me up at the retreat!
